A couple of weeks ago I visited my hometown, Monterrey, Mexico to spend some quality time with my family. It was wonderful getting to see everyone and I just adore spending time with our niece and nephews! Leo is one of our two beautiful nephews, son of my brother-in-law Eugenio and his wife Gaby. He just has so much energy and happiness to share and it is truly infectious! My youngest brother filled my mom’s guest room with tons of balloons for Emilio to play with when we arrived and boy was he super happy to share with his oldest cousin. We love you Leo!
It seems like just yesterday that I was going into the hospital to have my precious baby boy – and now my baby is hardly a baby anymore! Little Emilio is crawling around like crazy and is on the verge of walking (uh oh!). I’m left wondering – where does the time go?
I took these photos back in November/December to capture him at 7/8 months. I love him so much!
2011 has, by far, been one of the greatest years of my life! For starters, I became a mom and really, it can’t get much better than that! Emilio has given us so much happiness and love. We cannot imagine our lives without this precious baby boy!
Professionally, it was a wonderful year filled with beautiful weddings, loving couples, and precious babies. I can’t thank my clients enough for trusting me with their most precious moments and life events.

I started photographing this family over two years ago when the twins were first born. I love so many pictures from our shoots that it’s hard to narrow it down – but here are some of my favorites from: their winter shoot last year when the twins Evan and Kaitlyn were just 1 year old, later in the springtime when the mother, Emily, was pregnant with the third little one, and lastly from the newborn shoot of baby girl, Avery! I have Avery’s 6 month photo shoot to look forward to and of course Christmas photos! I love this family! :)
