From Midtown to Downtown to Rice University – every spot we went, Liana & Sergio photographed well! They were a bit shy & nervous to start out, but their humor loosened them up and they were naturals in no time. They got some great practice for their wedding in April! :-)
Perfect Spring weather and a beautiful couple in love – what more could a photographer ask for?
Most of my work is wedding photography where I get to be there when my clients say “I Do”…but it’s not often enough that I get to be there when he asks “Will you marry me?”…so I was very excited when, after 6 years of dating, Memo asked me to photograph this special moment when he proposed to his love, Manu.
On Friday, 2/10/12 at Tiny Boxwoods, she thought it was just another night but little did she know, Memo had some secrets up his sleeve! When they arrived, she requested a table inside because of the chilly weather and the hostess lead them to the “next available table” – the gazebo! This is where a table was all set up for just the two of them. On the table was a special ring-box cake designed and made by the chef of Tiny Boxwoods. The cake was adorned with the phrase “Will you marry me?”. As soon as she saw the cake, she knew what was happening and was immediately ecstatic and in shock! Memo brought out the ring, got on one knee, and asked her to marry him. She said yes!
In addition to the already romantic room, Memo also had a violinist from Divisi strings serenading them. They indulged in delicious appetizers for dinner and and just when Manu thought the surprise was complete, both of their families showed up to celebrate this momentous occasion!
It was such a magical evening – congratulations to the happy couple…and Happy Valentine’s Day! <3
Not many things are as beautiful as a young couple in love! And Lauren & John are just that. :) I had a blast at their e-session taking both traditional Houston scenic photos in the Rice area and then some more funky pictures over in Montrose. They have such adorable personalities and are constantly making each-other laugh! It was so fun to watch how spontaneous Lauren is and then how mesmerized John is by her. You can tell how happy they are together. I can hardly wait for their May wedding!
I love starting off the week with the smiling faces of a couple of lovebirds! This time – it’s Liz & Sean, looking all happy and in love for their engagement shoot in The Woodlands! They’ll be getting married in Pennsylvania later this year. I really enjoyed working with them and they were naturals in front of the camera.
